Default Just bought my first goat have a quick question

I just bought an 05 gto with a 6 speed transmission. Under normal driving the clutch is nice and soft, but when I get on it and bang through the gears the clutch seems to engage a lot differently. It doesn't seem to be getting hung up, it's just a lot stiffer and engages a lot sooner. So my question is, is that normal? Or do I have some clutch issue of some sort?

Stock system has it's issues. A good performance clutch and stout hydraulics will usually fix most issues. I make a nice clutch master for the car that helps most troublesome cars.

^ thats something I have noticed as well that the clutch seems kinda all over the place in regards to where it engages and disengages.

Mine has just shy of 70K miles, and I swore this wasn't just my imagination.. My dad keeps giving me crap saying "you need me to help?" when I kinda bog the car. But it's stock and shouldn't stay stock..

This.

Issues like yours are the norm for a stock set up.
