Innovators west 8 rib vs ATI racing 10 rib
Is an 8 rib enough to keep my belt from slipping (2.8 front pulley). Or if possible should I go with ATI Racings 10 rib 11% overdrive. Aiming for 15 psi.
Does anyone have experience with ATIs 10 rib kit?

I don't see why you can't use the 6 rib. My TVS2300 (under-driven cogged rear pulleys) has a 2.9 front pulley and a IW 10% over-drive damper and I get 13lbs of boost with no belt slip; have ECS belt tensioner. A 10 rib will stress everything and cost around $1400. ATI will also make you a full cogged belt that includes all the pulleys, damper and idlers for around the same price but I don't see a need for it; noisy. You just need to tweak your current set-up a little.

At 16 psi i had to give up on the 2.3 blower. High IAT and belts slipping were just too much of a hassle. I agree with what is posted. Leave at 13 and enjoy it. IMHO if your belt is slipping now all bigger belts will do is create more fricton/heat. I disagree that the 8 rib belt would be that much of a problem except the reason your belt is slipping is not the belt. It is intake air restriction or high IAT. Ultimately melted my IW Pulley, that is ehen i chucked it.

I checked with ATI and they no longer offer the kit for the GTO.
I went ahead and ordered the 8 rib with the 10% overdrive.
I think I am also gonna get the lingenfelter 50mm cogg pulley kit that comes with the tensioner.
With a 2.8 front 8 rib and the cogged rears am I really gonna have that much belt slip?

I'm running a Left Coast RIP 2.7 on a TVS1900 and IW overdriven 8-rib. I can hit 15#, but I do experience belt slip. Currently running the Maggie HD tensioner, but I'm going to be moving to the ECS tensioner - probably throwing good money after bad on parts, but it's still fun to drive. I thought ATI would make you any one-off pulley you want if you ask ni$ely enough.
