The front end on that red car is hideous. The scoops don't really help either. Geez I thought Lutz was moving Pontiac away from tacky. I got a solution, instead of having people nag about "the GTO is supposed to have hood scoops" change the name to Monaro. In fact just bring the Monaro over to begin with untainted and unPontiacified. The Holden version looks 10 times better anyway.

The hood and rear bumper of the car pictures are the only changes made to the car for 2005 (besides the spoiler).

The scoops will be on there for 05, just like 400hp, and the rear fasica, I'm pretty sure its going to have the same front end like the barbados one has in the above pic

I like the clean grill openings on that red one, but the ground effects are HIDEOUS. iIf they could make the grill like that and keep the clean bumper of the production GTO that would be sweet. Any photoshop gurus, care to take a whack at it to see what it would look like?

Split exhaust outlets (one on each side) like the autocross and either an optional or standard hood scoop. Plus red brake calipers w/ GTO on them. Other than that like the '04.
That's from much inside info from various people and the leaked release for the '05 on the GM site.

I was scanning the GM mediaOnline release that was leaked weeks ago on the 2005 GTO and came across this,
It's referring to all the parts on the pictured GTO. Since 05 production starts in September, I would guess that these parts will become available at the same time.
A line of regular production accessories (RPAs) based on the 2004 GTO Performance Plus SEMA concept vehicle is scheduled for start-of-production availability. The accessories include a tall rear spoiler, front and rear fascia extensions, rocker molding extensions and grille inserts. As part of GM’s RPA program, the accessories can be ordered and installed on the vehicle prior to delivery.
