Does the '00/'02 Camaro/Corvette alternator fit the '04 GTO? Hello, I'm new to this forum. My alternator is on its way out and I wanted an alternator that's more capable than the OEM alternator. So, I found this one summitracing.com/parts/pwm-38242
It runs at 165A so it's perfect for me. The website says that it doesn't fit my GTO, but a user on another car thread suggested that it'll fit the same regardless. So what do you guys think?
And while at it, is there anything else that I can buy to improve the electricity in my car?

Don't waste your time... The GTO electrical/charging system is finicky and there are no other alternators that will work. Others have tried and failed (search), so just buy: ACDELCO 92058857 (2004 GTO)
