Dunno, but I just don't want to fill the stock decklid in.

I would just fill it or order a new one and be done with it.

Driving around with holes in it isn't very cool, and probably isn't good for the lid corrosion wise.

A) The car never comes out in rain or other inclement weather.
B) The holes are conviently over the drip rail inside the trunk housing.

You could always get some rubber plugs and paint them with touch up paint. You could tell people it's the reverse warning sensors - heck it'd look better than some of the ones out there

I thought about putting those nylon inserts in. I did that on my Harley when I removed the tour pack and side bag racks. Problem is, is that they are also hard to get out and you run the risk of doing more damage.

And that looks like crap.

I'm sure where there's a will there is a way. Ask one of the AU guys to help out.

I know it does. I never said it was gorgeous.

However, due to parts shortages and me not wanting to fill my stock lid, and not employed right now, I'm kinda between a rock and a hard place. If someone wants to contribute to my trunk lid fund, feel free.

The guys down under have the option of a spoiler from the factory. So there are trunk lids down there without holes, but then you're back to the "getting them here to the U.S." conundrum again.

There is also a set of HSV wheels I want from the land of the Kangaroo, but the wheels and getting them here cost nearly $2,000. It ain't cheap.
