Looking to keep vehicle as original as possible. I can obtain the p.s. oem cooler, but I also need steel lines leading up to it that runs along front rail to pump. In the attached diagram, it would be item #8. I could do something after market, I know. Just trying to keep originality for my own reasons. Any help would be appreciated.

GM part # 92156730 is no longer available so you will need to find the parts (salvage) from someone parting a car out. The photo that you posted is for a 2005-06 GTO so here is the correct diagram:

Thank you for taking the time to respond and provide the correct diagram. I was able to obtain both the oem cooler and line set leading up to it from Hawk Motor Sports. They part out late model cars. The sales rep told me that the line set was specific to my model year but they did have a clean set in stock. I provided the same diagram to them, however, based on the updated info you provided, I will call them back to make sure they are shipping a set for a 2004. Thanks again for your help. Much appreciated!

It would be a good idea to rust-proof (paint them) to prevent corrosion in the future. Also, if you want stainless lines here is the thread: http://www.ls1gto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=442131

I was thinking the same thing. The previous owner must have driven or left it out in the weather,(live in Michigan). I've had the car for about 6 years and it is stored inside from November to April. As I notice rusted, badley weathered parts I replace them. As you know, the p.s. cooler and line sets are in an area to pick up everything off the road. I was assured that the line set being shipped are specific to a 2004. I'm retired and try to keep the car original in case I fall on hard times. Only put about 1500 miles a year on it.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I plan to. I've spent the entire time I've owned the car cleaning, painting, restoring, replacing, etc. As long as I own it, nothing is ever going to be exposed to the harsh conditions of Michigan again. It goes inside the garage and gets covered at the beginning of November and stays there untill April.

Sorry for opening an old thread...hopefully you're still on here. I have been having a lot of trouble finding accurate information on the part number for the O-ring that attaches to the hard line entering into the back of the PS pump on an '04. From the diagram you posted, it appears to be #25. Many posts stating it is an interchangeable AC o ring but keep getting conflicting part numbers. If anyone could chime in on this, it would be appreciated.
