installing this engine in project car. etched code in #2 boss on left rear of engine (and right side near front) reads K243514 and some dots. if this is derivative vin I am missing 3 numbers. last 6 numbers should be last 6 in vin(according to 2004 gto handbook) vin number of car the engine was removed from doesn't match formula for converting derivative vin to vin. any help would be appreciated.
