So after a couple of years now my GTO has come to the point where it makes waaayyyy to much power for the stock suspension setup. I am switching to a rear Coilover setup with Mini tubs. Anyone here running this with a 15in wheel? If so what is the tallest and widest tire you can fit in the rear. Currently with the stock setup i can clear a 26x10r15 but with 1100whp i cant make it off the line at all without spinning. Thanks for the help.

You do understand that your question completely depends on the aftermarket mini tubs and coilovers? Are you really asking what you can fit under random unknown aftermarket parts with no other specific info?
I have the Gforce tubs, coilovers, and modded trailing arms that allow for a 315/40/18 Toyo TQ on a 12 inch wheel to fit. I could go 335 but it will be close. Traction has more to do with rear weight bias, tire compound, and suspension setup in these cars although going to a 28" tire probably wouldn't hurt.
I spent a lot of time trying to fit the widest tire I could. My combo includes GForce tubs and lower control arms and coli overs, 1/2" offset spindles (shorter), and widened 19" VRM710's (creating a custom offset). I maxed-out with Nitto 345's under a carefully trimmed rear quarter wheel well lip.No interference / rubbing anywhere.
