A new item today. Turned the ignition to on and the radio/cd changeover starts to make a clacking sound which continues for a few minutes. I had the radio off as well. The blaupunkt CD changer gave up functioning properly a year ago and never did this. Cycle during start and something is jammed? Anyone have this happen? Will take out the radio this weekend and see what I can do with it.

Well whatever it was it is gone now.

I remember that happening when I was a kid in the old car radios. I couldnt begin to say why you'd experience that with a new car. The old cars was just interference because of bad wiring back in the day.
