Default XM Radio - WHERE TO PUT IT

I Just Bought Xm Radio's Commander Version. It's A Sleek Small Head Unit. I'm Due To Have It Installed On Wednesday But Don't Know Where To Have Them Put It. I Have A Six Speed And Think The Compartment In Front Of The Shifter Would Be Cumbersome. Any Suggestions? Also Does Anyone Have A Sirius Unit And Where Did They Put Theirs, Becuase I Might Switch It. Thanks!

I have a Sirius unit. I put it in my Tahoe :-)

There is no 'nice' place to mount it in the GTO. I am leaning towards replacing the head unit with an integrated SAT radio

here is the link to the replacement dash kit if you go with a new unit: http://www.audiowarehouse.peachhost...._PRgm-k396.htm

I have a delphi roady 2 clipped onto the vent. I keep the antenna inside the car on the center console because in philly it's likely to get stolen, and I don't feel like sticking it on the roof each time I go somewhere. Reception is Ok, but it cuts out.

I do want to get a nice head unit replacement with XM radio integrated, as well as a nav system. Thinking about the AVIC-N1 or maybe the new N2 that's coming out. I love Pioneer stuff.
