will f-body wheels bolt on a gto? i've been looking around all morning and i haven't found any info. and by f-body wheels, i mean 18 inch aftermarket wheels, not my stock 16 inchers. anyone know the bolt patterns and backspacing info on the goats?

The short answer is no. Don't know the specifics though.

They'll bolt on to the rears but I don't know if they'll go up front. I know SLP uses the 16" Firebird wheels with drag radials. There is a thread on ls1gto.com with WS6 wheels with 315 drag radials on. There is also a thread in here that discusses using F-Body wheels.

Maybe, maybe not.....GTO's have a true 5x120 whereas F-bodies have a 5x120.7 I believe.

gm really screws over the aftermarket crowd with little stuff like that. it would be cool to know that fbody wheels would bolt right on to a goat for the future. my way of justifying new rims for my car.

Don't quote me on it, but that's what I read on LS1GTO.com I know that when I was shopping for my wheels I had to get the 5x120 which limited my selection although I ended up being able to snag the HP Racing Evo wheels.
