They could backdate the paperwork if they were motivate to do so.

I just spent 20 min talking to this *** hole sales guy who is really giving me the run around and now changing everything. I think I am going to wait it out. I am really in no rush to get the car.

Make them sweat it out until they give you the deal you want.

Don't pay $1k for the Corsa either, unless you were going to get that kit anyway. I can't see spending that much on a catback, personally.

They are taking the corsa cat back off. I got a cheeper price on the same car in auto so I am going to play out that card. I asked the sales guy how his cost was a grand if I could Buy it from Tbyrne for $800? figure an hour for install is no more then a hundred bucks so as I see it hes trying to rip me off. he wants me to come get it this weekend. gonna let him sweat it out and hopefully I will get a better deal.

well see how it plays out. I think my truck knows it is getting traded in, she won't start now and I think it is either a frozen fuel line or a bigger issue with not getting spark. I guess I will add that to the list of projects for this weekend.

We just bought an 04 GTO in January they backdated the paper work for us till the 2nd so we got the $5500. off from the dealer and $5200. off from our GM card. It worked out really good for us we traded in our 98 GTP with 114k on it we owned on it but the $5200. from the GM card solved that problem for us. To bad it has snowed every week since we brought it home. Keep on top of trying to get the GTO it is worth it I have had a lot of cars in the past and the GTO seems to be one of the best.

well I will probably pick up the car next weekend. I have everything takin off the s-10 but the tq converter and caltracs. bigger problem is it won't start and I am going to have to send it in to get fixed. not really what I wanted to do. I am debating just leaving the converter in the truck but know I could get good money for it

Juiced, I don't know where you live, but I did a bunch of researching here in the Midwest and I'm finding deals in the 23k to 24k ballpark. Don't expect anymore incentives for February or March. I just got my new 04 from Kansas City, but if you look on Autotrader.com you'll find one in Iowa for $23.1k or one in Nebraska for $23.6k. Print out those ads and show them to the dealer. The 04 deals are around, but you need to look for 'em. Get them to waive the "administrative fees" which is often $100 to $200 and is one of those hidden fees they don't tell you about until you are ready to sign. If they won't come down anymore, ask for a couple of free oil changes.
