Default Cam 2 or 104-110 Octane OK

My question is: Can I put Cam 2 or 104/110 Octane in the GTO or will I burn the Injectors? ALso are there any good products out there that do the same thing but are less money? by good I mean actually work.

Leaded kills the O2 sensors and cats. Do you need to run that high of octane? Anything higher than 93 would be a waste unless you are running boost or extremely high compression.

No, not smart to introduce leaded fuels. You will most likely ruin the 02 sensors. Second you will see no benefit whatsoever in running racing fuel.

Sunoco does make a 100 octane unleaded race fuel.

Put down the Hot Rod magazine, stop smoking crack, and stop listening to 60 year old idiots with 1972 Chevells that run 14.90's with a 454 big block and pete jackson gear drives....

why in the **** would you want to spend $5+ gallon for race gas on a new car?

If you want to boost octane FOR A VALID REASON try Torco unleaded Accelerator, about $10 a bottle, won't hurt 02 sensors..

I run a 200 shot on a 11.2-1 motor with 2 degrees of timing pulled and a bottle of Torco per 1/2 tank of 93 octane...no problems.

P.S., why in the **** do you think you would "burn" the injectors with higher octane gasoline????

This post makes no sense...why do you feel you need higher octane gas? Are you running nitrous, turbocharger, or supercharger? Did you alter the compression ratio?

VP sells 103 and 109 octane unleaded motor fuels. Most race shops will carry 103 and can order 109. What's your requirement for such a fuel?

If you really needed it, you could run down to Home Depot or any hardware/paint store and grab some Zylene if you're hard up for some octane. I used to mix this in my TTA before I went with alcohol injection.

1 gallon of Zylene
3 gallons of 93 octane
1 oz of Marvel Mystery Oil for every gallon of Zylene

Makes 99-100 unleaded octane. Cleans injectors, combustion chambers, spark plugs also. Just don't get any on the paint
