if i want to get a 408 in a year or 2 but i want to get tb intake and headers now.....

if i go ahead and get 90 mm intake and tb and 1 7/8 headers how will that effect the ls1 as far as performance...

If you mean how would it effect your car if you added those parts to your stock motor, then you would probably see about 15-30 hp.

 

damn people usually see a that with just headers, u think the 90mm and 1 7/8 will effect it that much?

 

I wouldnt bother with the intake manifold yet, from what i hear they aren't really worth it. get yourself some nice headers and wait for the stroker until you get the intake manifold.

Well, basically what you are doing is over kill for a stock displacement motor. I would still do it if you want to, or just get the stuff and do not put it on untill you get the 408.
