Not an 05 but I have an 04 only mod is a homemade intake, my car is an M6. Give the 05's sometime to break in. Once broken in the should shoot off low 13's to high 12's. After all its basically the came car as an 04 with 45 to 50 more horsepower to the wheels. I was using stock tires. 1/2 tank of gas with the spare tire. I weigh 165 pounds. Takes some time to get use to the Goat. My first time at the track with the goat I could not get better than low 14's, second time high 13's. I finally figured how to dial it in the third time at the track. By the end of the spring or by the middle of the summer you will start to see some consistant low 13's high 12's out of stock 05 goats.

yeah was he there last friday night i ran last friday night and did bad with the mods in my sig i ran 14.0 spinning first and secong on the stock tires i got nittos on the way i dont have the headers yet though i even took out air out of my rear tires i could not hook up at all. cant wait for the nittos and my headers and a tune

Yeah, my uncle was spinning a little bit, if he hooked up he could of been in the 12s or 13.0, he said hes going to keep his stock for an everyday driver, and use his 01 LPE Twin Turbo ZO6 to race, btw you going up on friday, he might be running his vette.

the Oz Monaro's seem to run similar,but with a small stall auto will run mid 12's standard. there some good cam and chip packages available here app $700 AU c.o.m.e. racing make a 383 stroker with all the good gear $2.970AU.Naturally the base Monaros with out all the toys are lighter and faster. Also these Pontiac/Monaro vehicles are derived from our Oz Holden commodore, starting with aV6 to 300kw V8. Also available as a ute, lighter
again.Should check out the Australian,GMH and H.S.V. sites.
Ford also run a 240. 290 kw V8.+ 182kw straight 6 and turbo/int 6 with 240kw.

Forgot to say the Commodore is a 4 door sedan, my opinion only the H.S.V. version is better looking than the 2 door. cheers.

friday night my uncle put some ET streets on and he ran about the same, he ran 13.21@106, i think the tires slowed him down at the top end. He also said something about torque management, he talked to LPE and they said they were going to do something for him.
