Magnaflow 14211's fit perfect. As does the Magnaflow X pipe 10791 in place of the resonator. Cutting and welding required. It took about an hour and cost me $80. Local muffler shop.

Magnaflow 14616 's fit in place of the stock muffs to. You can reuse the factory tips- they are actually very nice. go to www.ls1gto.com there are some sound clips.
The 05's have a resonator under the car just after the cats- replace w/ straight pipes or an X Pipe. The X adds an "exotic" sound and actually quiets it a bit- adds hp too (3-5 hp). The resonator tones down the exhaust.

I had the resonator cut off and the 10791 X pipe welded in. Also cut just in front of the muffler and behind the muffler. Welded in the 14211's. Bolts back into place with the stock tips. Sound is as quiet as stock at an idle. On accel it has a different sound. Seems like your turning more R's than what you actually are. I like the sound but wish it was a bit louder. I plan on LT's soon, that should wake it up.
