Good deal or not?? I'm new here and just bought a yellow 05 GTO (auto) yesterday. I test drove the Mustang GT 1st, then the GTO. No comparison for me, and i've always owned Fords over the years. Anyway, I paid about $26,200 for the car,--out the door with tax and fees it came to $28,152. The car is brand new and I love it. Good deal?? What do you guys think?

Congrats on the new car. I bought my 2005 Yellow Jacket 6spd in Dec with 1975 miles on it with extended warranty and a few extras, skip shift eliminator, lojack, JHP dual guages, for $25,000.00. I would say you got a good deal. I hope you enjoy the car, we love ours. Good luck

Congrats! Sounds like a good deal. I considered the 05 Mustang, liked the looks but not the quality. I feel like I came out WAY ahead on my car. BTW, over 37,000 miles since I got it and STILL haven't been beaten by an 05 Mustang! Those damned supercharged Cobras are a whole other matter........
