I thought that for the '04, they were close to an E.O. number. I'd check with K&N directly.

I called them a few days ago, and they said that it is not yet approved. The guy said that if I get the intake now all I have to do is fill out the warranty card, mail it in, and when it becomes approved they will send me a carb#

i have my own DYI SS Intake. this is my third and so far the best intake. MAFless, smooth bore, cheaper and genuine "cold" air.

Default I have AEM and it's awesome !!!

With a 4" polished tube and easy to install instructions it was very simple . The power that it creates is great also. Here is a pic![IMG][/IMG]

I think I'm going to go with the modded stock box approach. I want to keep the engine bay as stock looking as possible, and the factory box really isn't all that bad.

I'm still researching different air filters, though. I want to keep away from an oiled filter, yet wants something that flows a little better than paper. I was looking at the Amsoil filters, anybody try one of these yet?

I don't have an aftermarket intake yet, but I would go for the AEM Brute Force just because you don't have to oil the filter. I don't know why more people here don't have them.

you can push it out with a screw driver and no codes will come up. But now I have a granetelli MAF and it's awesome but you have to get it custom tuned because of the amount of air flow !
