is there someone or a company besides w2w thats builds a nice wide body kit for the gto? i'm thinking about getting one but not just for the wide body kit but for the room it has inside. (i have a kid) Or is there an individual that can come up with one that would be affortable. maybe something along the lines of the TRG gto.r's???? Can any of you guys help me out. i really want one.

yeah u might be right but the outside sucks it looks like a cavalier.....needs wider tires in the back. and a couple of other things. i have big plans.

on ls1gto there is a guy coming up with a wide body kit. if, that doesnt come through i have a friend that owns a custom body shop and i'll get him to do some custom fab. work on the rear only. side exhaust. here's some stuff that i want. http://www.carbonbydesign.com/products.asp?cat=137

WOW! those are some good looking mods! I had no idea there were even that many appearance products out there for the goat... awesome!

I like the CF stuff... either some CF fuel rail covers/engin cover and a CF raidator cover painted would look very nice IMO.

Evil TA - The GTO that is in the Speed World Challenge was built entierly in shop from the stock floor pan, up. Almost all the body panels are carbon fiber.

Their red '04 was for sale, don't know if it's still available. It came as a 'roller' with all the molds for the panels. That car started off as one bought off the lot. The '05 cars are all handbuilt.

I can ask the car builder if the '04 is still available or if he can produce 'flares'.

The Autoform kit is only $4000 installed with the flares, splitter and complete install with paint. The pieces are $2300 alone. I have it and wouldn't have it any other way. I will say I spent another $4000 for rims and tires to fit the kit.

19x11 should not be a problem I'm running 18x11s on the rear with 315x30 tires. Give them at call at 616.392.4909 or sales@autoformgroup.com They are finishing my car up for GTO Nationals this week I can't wait to get it back.
