Speed-up 05 power seat motors?????
Has anyone been able to speed up there power seat motors for getting in the back? I understand the 06's have a faster motor but is it noticable???
I have an 05 and it is just anoying waiting for that stupid thing to move. Is there anything I can do short of putting in a new motor??
Thanks

i guess the 06's arent that much faster, but i cant tell ya from personal experience so i dont really know. other than that you might have to deal with it or tell whoever gets in the back seat to wait a minute....literally.

I put an SRT4 motor on my passenger seat, and now it moves quite well...
I just tell my passengers that I'd rather have a fast car with slow seats than the other way around.

I just got an '04 goat this week and i had the same question. I found out though on the side of the seat towards the top, near the headrest there is a lever. Its what usually holds the seatbelt there. If you pull the lever upwards it tilts the seat forward without the motor, and there is an arrow button below that, that will slide the seat forward quicker. Not sure if the '05 and '06 gto has this but the '04 does.
