How dangerous IS it...runnin 5X120 wheels...
I always here people say youcan run 5X120 bolt pattern wheels on your GTO, but that is not the correct pattern... I believe the correct pattern is 5X120.65? There are so many more wheels available in 5X120, but if it is dangerous AT ALL, I'm not goin that route...

You have it backward. 5x120mm is the GTO lug pattern; 5x120.65mm (5x4.75") is the GM std lug pattern. Lots of people have run the GM std pattern on the GTO...I was running 120.65 pattern wheels but couldn't get rid of a shimmy in the front end so I got rid of them.

most tire shops won't mount F-Body wheels on a gto
they will "fit", but have alot more tendancy to mount misaligned
also the F body hub ring is larger (so It dosn't hold the wheel centered.)
and gto wheels won't fit on the F bodys (hub hole is too small)
