so far on my 05 i had a CEL(emissions related),pedal sensor replaced and fuse blow. thats it in almost 2 yrs though i only have less than 10k on it. my drivers seat squeaks and sometimes it wont go all the way forward but besides that its been a great car.

it rides nice and its very comfortable. i like my fbody alot but GTOs are just better overall cars imo.

Default No Problems Goat

I have had my 2004 M6 since April 2004, and now have 18,000 miles on it. Only problems: an intermittent trunk light that I fixed with electric parts spray, and a passenger door lock that balked a few times but ultimately cured itself. Once or twice the automatic sound leveling has suddenly gotten really loud and then returned to normal (I could simply turn it off in the computer system, but it has not occurred often enough to do so). That's it--in other words, no real mechanical problems. Beautiful build quality, and I have no complaints about the paint on my Impulse Blue/blue interior (a stunning combination). Gas mileage is pretty crappy (12 to 15 around town, 22 to 25 on highway with 6 speed), but whaddya expect from a 350 hp V8 (or 400 hp in the 2005-06) in a 3750 pound car? All in all, a tremendously underrated and underappreciated (except by aficionados like us) car that has lousy resale value, as I have found when I attempted to sell mine because of personal financial reasons.

Don't GTOs handle pretty well on the road course? Compared to the solid axle T/A, and Camaros

My rear on my '06 is making some noise, I changed the fluid to Royal Purple and it seems quieter. There is some stitching coming apart on one of the back seats, just at the top, not too bad. not quite 8k on the clock.

I can't remember any real issues with my '04.
