Another new pb, 1/8 mile only track
Hey Bob!, wanted to keep you up to date. Last Sunday I participated in a umtr race at dragway42, which is a 1/4 mile track, but they were only doing 1/8 mile for safety reasons. I was still running out the 1/4 mile in time trials since we were informed that we would get 1/4 mile time slips any how. Well no 1/4 mile time slips, however I got an awesome 1/8 mile time of 7.3972 at 90.87 mph. With a blistering 60' time of 1.5792, these new stiff sidewall slicks are really paying off. My previous best 1/8 mile was an 7.518. My other runs of the day were 7.5x since it was during the hot hours of the day, first run was the 7.39 at around 11 in the morning. I think I can pull off an 11.5 run very soon, just a matter of time!
