Russ Gee, father of the GTO- and ME! The man resposible for the original GTO stopped in my shop today to have his SRX serviced. He's a really cool guy, and told me all kinds of stories about the engineers back in the 60's and 70's sneaking things past the corporate bean counters. If it weren't for real car nuts like him and Delorean, cars like the GTO never would have been built.
I snapped a photo for posterity of me and him with my CTS-V. Excuse the dorky grin, but it was cool chatting with a piece of muscle car history.
