New to gtos here. Is cosmos purple a wanted color among gto guys like the mystic crome and comp orange cobras are with the mustang guys? Just wondering. Thanks

 

No, but I bought that color just because it was a one year only color, and I like to have something different.

 

its one of the rarer colors and loogs great clean....my woman has one

 

that color is hurt by being only on a 04

good looking car, but there seems not to be one color everyone wants

 

Cosmos isn't really a sought after color, but barbados and midnight blue are.

There are only two of us Cosmos owners active in the Rocky Mountain club. So, two out of thirty is nice.

I'm not a fan of the cosmo colored GTO, but if you're into the rare thing, then thats your car. On the other hand Pontiac made a few really nice colors for the GTO. Both blues, the orange and the dark red (not sure on the real names) look really good.

I'm having my wife's 95 Z28 painted Cosmos Purple.

 

IBM isn't a limited color.....

Barbados Blue on the other hand....

'04 only colors....Cosmos Purple, Barbados Blue, and Pulse Red
'05 only color...Midnight Blue
'06 only color...Brazen Orange and Spice Red

ummm, no... that was pulse red. very simular, but with no metalic or at least very little in it.

Oh I wasn't saying it was...he said "both blues". I forgot about Barbados.

 

The only thing wrong with Cosmos is that it shows every little nick and scratch like it was under a microscope. I personally love mine especially the interior. You won't see purple leather in many cars

 

Damn, I thought I had the only purple in the Atlanta area. The only other one I knew about was wrecked in '04.

 

I love mine, and I think the interior is the best part.
