Default GTO Question

There is an 06 GTO at the dealership with 75 miles on it new, and it the new orange color. Not sure of the name, 6 speed it stickers at 32K or so. They wont drop it below 31K WTF. Any insight on a good price for this. I know i'm in Cali and everything out here is worth it's weight in gold, but come on. . . .

The auction has already sold..but just showing you what you missed out on
Looks like no one bought it off eBay, but possibly sold it at the dealer...

$28,995 w/ 0 miles on it

Maybe you should give this dealership a call.

The longer it sits on the lot, the more willing they will be to sell at a lower price.

The way I see it, 31k for one of the rarest GTO's you can find. No wonder they wont come down off it.

That's not a bad price for that car at all, it's one of the rarest ones.... I love that color.

FWIW

I bought a 2006 GTO with M6 (Torrid Red) and 500 miles on it for $30,383.

With 0% interest that will be the final cost for purchase as well. IMO it is a 30k car and unless you could care less if you get it or not I would think 31k for the GTO is what it should sell for.

I wouldn't give more than 27k for a GTO right now. Check with other dealers you will find one that wants to get rid of a 2006 car now that it's May 2007.

Not every dealer thinks the same. Some will hold out on the price since they are no longer made.

There are only 1500 GTOs left on the lots now...

The weather is nice and the dealers will probably hold out for close to sticker.

My wife worked for a pontiac dealership, Bought my GTO for 26,395 plus tax, it was last one on the lot. Trust me they make alot of money off all cars. Is a rare color, but I bet those are some hard 75 miles. I think 29K is what most new leftovers are going for with all the rebates.

In SoCal I see them advertised every weekend in the paper for 26,999, I don't know if they are the Brazen Orange or not but they are new. Even the highest priced Cadillac/Pontiac/GMC dealer in town is selling them new for 26,999. Last weekend they ad said they had 4 of them. In 04 I bought mine for 25,888 with 2.9% and I think with a little bit of calling I think you can match maybe beat that deal.

I paid $28K for my brand new orange GTO a few months ago. It was damn hard to find an orange one even back then.

hey dont forget about the 0 percent

that alone will make it cheaper than the 28 others pay at 4.9

My buddys dealer has the Red one in Wichita, they still have it and he said they would make me a deal on it if I wanted.

I got a 06 last night with 28 miles on it. I could either get 0% or $2000 plus my GM-S pricing. I took the GM-S and 0%. The payments are cheaper that way.

And it really does depend on the dealer and how much traffic they get and if they are willing to sit on them. All of the dealers here in OKC are sitting on them and wont budge.
