QTP's Maggied GTO on the dyno
During the 3rd back to back pull, somewhat heat soaked and pulling timing, she pulled 425/422. From 1800 there was at least 380 ft/lbs. The sound over the phone was pure sex. I was grinning so hard it hurt.
Tommy, never satisfied, said Magnuson's canned tune was running too lean (which is surprising), but a little laptop dancing and she went from 383/402 cold on pull 1 right up to 408/41-something on pull 2. Another couple of tweaks to get closer to 11.5-11.7 AFR and 425/422. I don't know what the IATs were on that last pull, but, I can't wait for a cool 1st pull next time around! Oh, and this was on only 5 pounds of boost.
I can stand proud thanks to Tommy, Barry, & QTP. Mind you, they wouldn't let me do anything else until I get some time on it, but, they made the most of a stock Maggie out of the box. With a conservative tune no less. No pullies or anything else....yet.
ANYONE thinking of doing FI around the Atco/Philly area, speak to Tommy or QTP. It's not as simple as laying the Maggie in the valley on a GTO, boys. These guys made sure they took some time to lay the groundwork so it works WELL.
