Default all my GTo boyz let me talk to you for a min

hay i have a 94Z right now and well I'm about to sell it for something newer. .

and well i have 2 questions for you. .
the first is.. is this some type of body kit? or is it completely custom and would take crazy money to reproduce?

and question 2 is.. do you think its worth getting the 6.0 over the 5.7? and other then HP why??

No. Why pay $5k more for 50hp at the motor. I test drove an LS2 when my car was just tuned (by myself) and it was noticeably quicker/faster.

There was a company making the RA6 (Ram Air 6) GTO but I'm not sure if they still are and I'm pretty sure you had to buy the whole car from them. Not a kit. Check out ls1gto.com for specifics.

if you plan to modify it at all getting the 6.0is not worth it. and if your going to dd it with no modifications than if you want to opay 5k more for 50 more hp than thats fine. granted it comes with a bit stronger rear end with bigger brakes to slow these pigs down, and better body styling, but for dding most of that stuff is useless money.

i have 2 04's. 1 that is mostly stock, and the other im turning into my race car.

the one that is mostly stock has a k&n intake, and borla catback with mid pipes and beats stock 6.0's

I remember reading something like $12-16k installed. Not worth it. I wish they would have just dumped the exhaust instead of putting those shitty side tips on it.

6.0 > 5.7 unless you're going ***** to the wall modding on it or plan on going boosted and turning up the boost because even at low boost levels the LS2 is going to make more power. No matter what you do or how much you spend the LS2 will always be a little more powerful because of the extra displacement. It really does help in a heavier car like the GTO. And you're not just paying for 50 extra hp, you're also paying for much better brakes and much better styling. Well worth a few extra bucks.

Personally I went with an 06 for the LS2, better styling, and the color I wanted (only offered in 06).

With an intake, headers, catback, and Maggie 122HH (which wont fit under a LS1 cars hood) you can be at 500rwhp at minimal boost levels and minimal mods, something a LS1 GTO cant do without a little spray to top it all off.

But only you can decide for yourself. Go drive a LS1 and a LS2 GTO. I did and the power delivery and feel was completely different. The LS2 feels a lot stronger with its beefier torque/power curve.

I'd say go for the LS2 GTO... when I had mine (Completely stock) I raced an LS1 GTO that had intake, exhaust, and was tuned, and I pulled on him fairly hard (suprising!)

That isn't the spoiler.
The spoiler on the orange car is a 3 piece, which looks close to the others but I don't like the idea of having the "wings" hang off the trunk and try to get them to align to the body without scuffing it up.
JHP makes a 3 pc, but from the back it looks too ricer for me.

Vinny that spoiler on the RA6 is basically a one of spoiler put on the 3 RA6 gto's that were actually produced. I know there was a actual RA6 for sale on ebay.... it was one nasty machine it looked sweet plus it had a supercharger on it which is also a plus. But to answer your question the spoiler you are asking about cannot be bought however you can get pretty close with the gravana spoiler like posted above.

I'm moving towards the idea of no spoiler.
I like the look on your car, plus the few lbs dropped is a bonus.

That's the Woodward GTO, one of a kind. Anthem Motorsports here in Az makes a body kit that is just like it. Now I've seen it many times and the person that helped to build it showed me how it was designed, made, etc. I'm not impressed with the quality of the kit at all, I would stay away from it... and if you want one it's $15k installed FYI.

It's not really the HP that made me get a 05 over a 04. It's the styling and the bigger brakes. These cars are pretty heavy, they need all the stopping power they can get IMO. So yes, get a 6.0.

i had the 04 black GTO A4... i bought it before the 05's were out so i didn't have the option at the time... as soon as they came i bought the 05 bumper because i hated the gay exhaust on the 04 with the small exhaust tips and that alone cost me 2k and they upgraded the brakes, and they put the scoops on the hood... all in all the 05 is a better all around car not just for the LS2
