I don't know if it's already been mentioned but I took my two magnaflow mufflers off yesterday and realized they weigh probably about 40lbs EACH!

I don't know what kind of muffs you got but if they aren't bullet type I would bet that they weigh a ton!

On the flip side I ordered to replacement mufflers that are being shipped by UPS and by their calculations the total weight is 11 lbs WITH packing/shipping supples, so I figure 4.5-5 lbs per muffler.

In short, if you want to take off 60-70 lbs, spend 100 bucks and get light weight aftermarket mufflers.

This battery is in use in one '05 GTO that I know of, without any problems. It is much lighter than an Optima.

I just weighed my stock exhaust vs. the magnaflow system. The result is an 18 lb. weight savings if you have a magnaflow system on a 2004 GTO. Not sure about the 2005 or 2006 systems.
