the only things negative i have seen posted about the GMM which could be attributable to the shifter is the bolts backing out of the handle and a couple of broken handles. i suspect that the broken handles were due to the bolts being loose. i've had my GMM race for three years now and haven't had a single issue with it. i used red loc-tite liberally on everything. i shift like a maniac at the track too.
