Save that money, start putting money back per month. Buy Gen TTR kit for 5800 when you have money saved up. You will be glad you did. I am getting ready to de mod my GTO after 600 on nitrous was not enough. You always want more power and this way you will have room to grow.

So after all of this I think i may have come to a conclusion.

I think i am going to go with.

-stage 1 suspension (bushing swap ~ $750-1k)
-good dyno tune ~$600
-mufflers and an x-pipe ~$500
Cam Package- $1200ish (cam, Comp 921 spring kit & Comp pushrods)
Exhaust: 650 (its stainless steel)
hardcore intake---100
And possibly a tint and new wheels and tires.

Can some one tell me how this sounds.

The mufflers and x-pipe ARE your exhaust, unless you mean headers when you said "exhaust". I definitely think you should upgrade your shifter tho too. Try to find someone local who has an aftermarket shifter. They will most likely let you try it out and you'll understand why I recommend this upgrade. If you are going to go the route of a cam package rather than tires (don't think you'll end up having enough for everything you mentioned unless you do some serious shopping around and snag some killer deals), I would highly recommend installing an UDP (underdrive pulley) while you have the stock one off. You can get a Powerbond from neweraperformanceparts.com for ~$180 (http://www.neweraperformanceparts.com/default.asp?S=503&A=E&PKV=pbu1480ss25gto|0) +$40 for the right sized belts. Definitely worth the extra 10rwhp

I am sorry I should of reviewed my post, I didn't realize that I put both. Now I feel dumb. I meant to say header and exhaust, I was reviewing every one else's posts and choosing what I felt would most benefit my car. I also don't think i am going to go with a new suspension just yet.

Our cars are decent at straight aways, but pigs in the twisties without any suspension work. Just an FYI.

I am getting it tinted tomorrow, I am getting 15% all around. Should I smoke out my lights? My goat is yellow.
After I get this done I will post pictures of my car.

I have found a good place now to purchase my parts, Murray's speed and custom http://www.murrayauto.com/ For any one that lives in the southeast region in FL there is a person that works at Boynton Beach who knows all about GTO's.

I don't think that I will be touching my suspension just yet.

I'm sitting right about at 4,500 with my mods including very cheap installation.
Texas Speed has Cam packages. http://www.texas-speed.com/
Get your long tubes from Gravana or Maryland Speed though. http://www.marylandspeed.com/
Get your Stall converter from either Yank or Vigilante. http://www.converter.com/vigilante.htmhttp://www.converter.cc/

It really just depends what you want to do with the car. Let me know I will be happy to help you.
