I'm looking to buy an aftermarket hood for my gto because I have the 5.7 hood. I like the 6.0 hood but I'm wondering what sort of other hoods there are for it.

If you like cowl hoods I know there is one out there but I forgot what company makes them. I'm not sure if they are a sponsor here, but check gravana tuning they have a bunch of different hoods listed there.

MPD has the best looking hood out for the GTO IMO.

It has distinctly GTO throwback styling while blending in with the lines of the car. It visually balances out the factory spoiler nicely too. In fact I think it looks better than the hood GM came up with themselves. Having seen a few in person I can also attest that the quality is very good.

You can also get their airbox so the scoops on the hood feed the intake directly.

My car is in the process of having the dominant motorsports cowl hood installed. Really nice piece. Here's a pic from the gravana site. I'll post pics of my hood installed one I get my car back if anyone wants to see it.

I like the way that looks. Maybe just a little bit lower profile cowl. Are the pins part of the look or funtional and did the hood come that way?
Nevermid: I see the pins are gone in the store pic.
