Default APS gto guys come on in..

Well since you guys have the same tubos as the f body kit and we seem to have several guys on the f body section saying they have some problems with their turbos wondering how many of you gto guys have had problems with your aps turbos?

I don't really see why there would be problems as they are using the mits 20g turbos which are usually extremely reliable.

Now we f body guys have some problems with the intake ducts and sway bar clearance but in this thread only interested in actual turbo problems.

The APS system is very reliable. Only issues I have seen are the need of smaller oil restrictors for the turbo's. Other than that, they seem to stay cool, and work efficiantly.

the pipes that run along the frame rail have been known to have tire rub issues , but i think alot is either install needed more tweaking , also tire and wheel combos , some also have had steering knuckle rub which is also a little extra time on the install , plus the gto's arent to well know for being exact in the engine compartment , kooks has said to have seen up to 1" variance
