Default Need help mounting an ls in a 74 nova subframe!! Thanks

I have a 74 nova subframe on my 57 Chevy truck. Yesterday I tried to set the ls motor and 4l60 tranny, and the oil pan bottomed out on the crossmember. I am using the clamshell motor mounts with a dirty dingo conversation kit. Amy help, pictures, or ideas would be greatly appreciated thank you

You haven't said which oil pan you have.

Sorry it's the stock oil pan that would have been on the 2003 trucks.

Ok so I did get the motor mounted yesterday. However the oil pan is definitely bottomed out on the crossmember. Does anyone have any suggestions on oil pans.

You are probably gonna need to swap out the truck oil pan for one from a 4th gen camaro or possibly a corvette batwing might work. Otherwise there are aftermarket solutions specific for your car subframe from companies like brp hotrods.
