I was searching for some info for the 2009 season of Camaro Cup and got a plessant suprice. They are supose to race with a tube chassi with a 5gen look alike Camaro (not a real camaro but anyway.)
It's still a 4 gen with ZZ4 engine and a tube chassis, wich is a pitty. They should have bought the race car concept from GM and changed the rules instead.

But now it's not as "cheep" as it was earlier either.

New Camaro Cup-specifikation.

Engine: 5,7 liter ZZ4 engine, from the 2008 Camaro Cup-Camaro. It produces 420hk and 600Nm.

Transmission: Gearbox, clutch & rear end are from the 2008 camaro (4gen). 4-speed Richmond Super T10.

suspension: Öhlins.

Chassi: Tube frame, Camaro Cup Specs

Boddy: Glasfiber-Camaro 2010, adj spoiler.

Interior: Aluminium

Frontend: Fully adjust with tube a arms.

Front brakes: Willwood 6-piston

Rear brakes: Willwood 4-piston

Tyres: Michelin Slicks "17.

Rims: 9x17-9,5-17.

Fuel: E85 - Etanol.

Price: 34 000 Us dollar + VAT+ driveline
