good luck to you if you want to be the first to try and re-develop the wheel around a not very aerodynamic car for competitive GT1 racing.
This can be competitive in regional racing, in national racing, you're pushing it. You have to have a very good driver and close to unlimited budget to be a top runner in a Camaro GT1 as-is

4th place was a camaro gt1, however its best time was 4 seconds off the leaders' and 2 seconds off 3rd place, and over a minute behind at the end of the race
let someone else re-develop the wheel on a new car..
