Is anyone running one? Up here our autocross runs last like 1.5 mins. I wouldnt imagine the PS would generate enough heat to require a cooler. Keep in my it is Alaska so imagine 60-70 degree temps. Thanks
One pass might not be enough to overheat the fluid, but I'd imagine that a typical car may be making repeated passes in a short period of time unless it's really busy that day. Run one just in case. Even if you don't need it, it's still a cool idea anyway...
I don't think you'll be needing one...and if you find or think you do, a factory one off an SS or WS6 should be plenty given your outdoor temps and brief session with time in between..
Keep in mind the stock pump kind of over works the system. If you have an UD pulley it should help a little, by reducing the amount of flow.
If just AX'ing for peace of mind I would install a factory one. I've been running a Stock Cooler for almost a year now with no issues, this past summer averaging 101-109 heat.
Road Racing and lapping the car would probably require a decent aftermarket unit.
Dont forget the most important cooler the oil cooler
good luck!

I used Turn One for ever.
Then I found a place that will revalve your pump for ~$100. Send it to them and they will refurb it and return it to you. Usually takes a couple days. We have a 1/2 dozen of them in our client's race cars, both LS and LT based platforms and no one is complaining.

I currently run a Turn One pump. I bought it a couple years before I discovered PSC. But the PSC pump refurb is the way to go IMHO.
The valving, pressure and flow rate is altered a little from TO pump specs. We've found them a little better yet.
I have a small, two pass PS cooler on my car. Probably not needed, though as I have also replaced the stock PS reservoir (remember, I'm running an LT1) with a higher capacity, KRC aluminum oil tank. The tank itself transfers heat better than the plastic and I have about 1/2 quart more capcity which helps as well.
I wonder if PSC can install an AN fitting on the top of an LSx pump so that a remote tank can be used? I've never asked.

I've been autoxing a turn one pump since last year. My stock pump was whining and would vent fluid out the cap after each run. The turn one is quiet and dry! Of course a turn one pump will bump you out of Fstock I believe....

Mount it in the lower right of the fan shroud, if you dont have a hole there cut one.

lol my whole front end is different from stock but ill find a place to put it. that cooler goes on the return side right? any issues with it pushing the fluid that far?
I had seen that in my searches but was hoping I could get one with AN lines rather than rubber hose and clamps
