Default 17x11 Offset Options

I'm planning on getting a set of 11s for all 4 corners. I would like to know what offsets are being used, if a spacer in involved, and if the wheels are sticking out.

I keep getting conflicting info here some say 36mm offset, some say 50mm

I posted here to get the right answer. I would post up on frrax but my computer either won't go there or their site is messed up.

But what offsets will keep the front wheels from sticking out past the top of the wheel well?

Thanks in advance guys

Bump for some help. 36mm offset for the front or 50mm? I don't want them to stick out past the top of the fender

Hello,

My friends and I have five 4th gen f-bodies all running 7x11 ZR1 replicas with 315 35's at all 4 corners with 50mm offset. 95 Z28, 96 Z28, 97 Firebird, 97 TA, 2002 SS. I recommend hub centric spacers (Blaine Fabrication is where we got ours) and longer ARP wheel studs. We are running either 1/8" or 1/4" spacers on the front and 1/4" spacers on the rear. Two guys have C6 front brakes and have to run the 1/4" spacer to clear the brakes. For my car (each car may be slightly different) the 1/8" spacer is what I use on the front and I get a little tire rub on the drivers side only at the 35mm sway bar and the inner body. With 1/4" spacers I got some wear on the inside edge of the outer fender. I think the 36mm would put the wheels and tires sticking out to far (away from the centerline of the car). I have read the TA's can make 36mm offset work due to wider fenders without spacers. Good Luck

Thanks man I really appreciate the info. I'm working on a deal for a set of 50mm offsets and I am deffinately planning the ARP studs, they are actually nect on my order list

I have heard good things about the Blaine Fab spacers and they will be used in the front, for the rear I'm going to wait until the watts and everything is done to decide if I need spacers or not, but I want the rear to have the same foot print as the front (don't want the front to look wider) so I'm sure a 1/4" or so spacer will be needed.

Thanks again, I can't wait to get 11s at all 4 corners, it just looks brutal haha, its going to be a handful on the street, but I'm ok with that my car only sees about 5K miles a year anyway but I'm working to get more out of it
