Sorry about that, organized my photobucket albums and F'up all my posts! I routed mine out of the bottom of the nose and around. They hang down some, but no lower than the air dam.

Where did you get the brackets for the ducts to hook to?

Don't want to post a direct link, but google camaro brake ducts and look for Lambert or Quantum. You'll find them.

Has anyone tried to put the ducting behind the front grill holes instead of cutting up the air dam down below?

Way too hard, a lot more hose.

I looked at it, you have to figure out a way to get up and around the whole bumper support...I considered it to much of a PITA.

I have considered using the fog light holes and I still may do it. You can go to Lowes and get sheet metal ducting that slips over the inside of the hole and you can secure it with screws then slide your hose on it.

It's a bit of work, but once you take the bumper cover off, you will have to trim the foam and the steel structure to open them up. Then you will need to fill in the gap between the bumper and the frame rail with pieces of sheetmetal to direct the air to the frame rail, drill a 3" hole in the rail, weld a short piece of 3" tubing to attach the duct hose too. You will only need a short piece (foot and a half) of ducting to go from the frame rail to the brake duct. I didn't take any pictures of the sheetmetal between the bumper cover and the frame.

my airdam:

Note, I didn't have the hoses on for this autocross - I just swapped sway bars and didn't have time to reinstall them. I didn't need them really for autocross anyway. Road course, it's a must.

Very nice work! Pretty simple minus the welding bit. Not too daunting.

It's really not hard. Just time consuming with having to take off the bumper cover. And once that is off, it's pretty obvious how everything will go together. You could probably figure out a way to rivet the piece of pipe to the frame instead of welding it on to make things easier. One thing I would've done different is move the hole in the frame backwards about an inch for better tire clearence.
