Default as colder weather rolls in

Thanks to a combination of parts failures and limited time, it took me until a couple weeks ago to get my car rolling again - just in time for the crappy weather. Most northern tracks shut down for the year after Nov 1, but what about going south? Do any of you know of a track in your area that continues to roll in the colder months? My limited research brought me to Putnam Park's web site (Near Indianapolis). Are ther others, outside the obvious places (FL, GA, TX, CA)? If you got one, name it here

There is supposed to be some race in homestead, by miami in december. Im not sure what organization runs it, but there are two classes closed wheel and open wheel. If you have a trailer you might want to look florida, and georgia way. I plan on traveling if I have to this winter to race. Im basically in your situation.

We run only in the winter months here, too damn hot in summer.

We run

Road Atlanta

Barber Motorsports Park

NOLA Motorsports Park

Others in the south...

Atlanta Motosports Park, Roebling Road, Little Tallegega.

Go to Motorsportsreg.com and Clubregistration.net, register and search for events.

If you're heading south over the winter....

Chin is at Sebring on December 13th and 14th, VIR on Feb 28 and March 1st and Road Atlanta on March 9th.

JustTrackIt is at Barber on February 27th.

Hooked on Driving is at Roebling Road on January 30th, Road Atlanta on February 14th and 15th, Barber on February 23rd and (a personal favorite) Atlanta Motorsports Park on March 14th.
