Want new wheels.....
In the quest to shed weight, I want to grab some new wheels. Have OE C5 5-spoke and looking at either Miro or VRM. Would like some thoughts on this. Black 2000 TA. Car is on Koni SA with Strano springs. Miro 711 or the VMR V703 or V708 Or V710. I guess they are both lighter than stock? Looking to do a BBK in march so want to offset the added weight. Thanks to all in advance.

OP, what's the weight of the VMR/Miro wheels you are looking into?
This may help:

Knowing that you want a BBK, I would look no smaller than 18" wheels. I'm running factory 17" 10spokes and while I would WANT a BBK...I have not out-driven the LS1 swap I did on my LT1.

Sorry been busy. I have the OEwheels C5 18x9.5, Idk the weight on either wheel. Guess I should research that part. I like the look of the Mirros vs what I have now. 1st is at work, bad light. 2nd at home. Just doesn't look right to me.

If this change is for function, IMO, who cares what they look like. I'd run Pink wheels on my Purple Z28 if they were a very light/function wheel.
Just toss one of your wheels/tires on a scale and see what you get. Then go to the link I posted and compare it to other OEM or aftermarket options.
Getting a lighter wheels is only a matter of $$$.
What doesn't look right is the size of that rat behind your car in the second picture lol.
