It has 4 emitters that go off when you pull the handle.
2 of the emitters, the driver and the rear end/fuel cell emitters have the thermal coupler and will activate automatically if there is fire.

That answers my second question then, you still have the manual option plus buy yourself a little time if you get knocked out.

My favorite Reunion race in the 10 was a Sunday morning at the 2018 Reunion.
It was a longer race, and the car was working very well.

I'm going to try and make it down there on Saturday. I worked for a couple different engine builders that did engines for that era imsa cars. One was Buick V6's and the other was Chevy V8's and V6's including some turbo V6 GTP cars.

Senna nice meeting you in the pits.
I liked how my Buick racer friend asked if you had any parts.

Here are a a couple of races from Reunion.
Unfortunately my right front brake bleeder failed in both races after a few laps.
So had to pull in early but was running in 7th.
Since I was a dnf had to start last for the last race where after a few laps the bleeder failed again.
Next race VARA at Buttonwillow end of September.

Race 1.
A good duel for the lead with my pit partner in his orange Capri.

Race 2.

My pit partner led most of Race 1 in his Roush Capri.
The green Huffaker Firebird and a 4 rotor RX7 join the battle.

It was good seeing you as well. I didn't get the chance to inquire about your Camaro.

Who's car was it? who drove it? and who was the engine builder?

It was a good time seeing so many cars from my time in the sport.

Hi Troy,

In 1988 and 1989 Jerry Kuhn drove this Camaro in 15 SCCA Trans Am and IMSA GTO races.

This Historic race car was built by longtime SCCA privateer Jerry Kuhn in his race shop located in New Jersey.

In 1986 Jerry had friends at Chevrolet that arranged for him to visit Protofab Engineering.

That experience inspired Jerry to spend all of 1987 building this car. Jerry’s competitors jokingly referred to his new Camaro as the “Protofib”.

Jerry has provided extensive Historical documentation, photos and 30 pages of chassis blueprints to support the provenance of this exceptional race car.

Jerry’s racing history can be found at ultimateracinghistory.com.

H and G associates as seen on the valve covers built the engines for Jerry.

Now serviced by Bryans Racing Enterprises in Santee California.

Accepted at Monterey Reunion 2013/14/17/18, 21 and 22.

Winner Sonoma 2014 Group 7. Winner Coronado 2016 Group 10.

“Jerry Kuhn’s sleek ’88 Camaro was fastest”. Vintage Motorsport Magazine 3/2017.

Qualified 3rd behind Big Red and was holding 3rd in the race till engine problems sidelined us.
Again my video recording keeps fouling up so no video this weekend.
