Default ABS and the PCM - can it be tuned?

wondering if the ABS can be tuned down some by modifying the paramiters in the PCM w/ something like LS1EDIT? it seems i feel my ABS kick in (peddle pulsing) when i'm at my 1/2 pressure point w/ my foot. on a road course, i use the brakes way pst where the ABS kicks in and it seems there is something to be gained from making it less agresive.
any input on this?

I think that a few Bosch engineers would know. You might try writing one of them. They are very pleased with their ABS design but it is constantly being studied and modified by them.

There are actually indepent computers that can be installed that will adjust the braking to each individual wheel. This seriously contols spin outs and cornering ability.
However the cost of this things is so unbelievably HIGH that only race teams with some serious sponership uses them. I hear that it cost around $10,000 SO i doubt it is in your budget.

My BEAR brake set cost $1,400 and you would beleive the difference. But that was for the stock 16" rims. There really kick but system for 17"+ rims runs around $2,300 for all four wheels.
