Default Disable ABS for Auto-X?

I'm just starting to get into auto crossing with my camaro. This is the first car I've owned with ABS brakes. My question is to those who race... Do you find it easier to control braking without ABS, and are you getting faster times? It seems like every time ABS kicks in and the pedal starts moving, I get totally freaked out. I would use the ABS for everyday driving because I have found it usefull every once in awhile.

just keep that same pressure on the pedal, and forget about the fact that its moving. The PCM will give a little slip, but its doing the "threshold braking" for you. Its great, and I will never remove it for my car.

Try driving a CP Mustang(Fox body) without ABS and you will love your brakes when you get back into your car

Do not disable the ABS, pulling the ABS fuse from the car will default the ABS Variable Proporting Threashold to the rear so you would only get full brake ratio in the rear and not in the front.

And the brakes have been upgraded, but they are still inferior to the Camaro. My question was if ABS was going to hurt my Auto-x performance. The other two cars I've owned didn't have ABS, so my driving skills are not use to a 'pulsating' pedal.
