There are several clubs in the DFW area.

The next local autox is in Bedford on Sunday, March 9th. Visit www.autocross.com/er for directions and schedule info. I will be there if you need tape for numbers, tire pressure gauge, etc..

The week after that, SCCA will have one at the same location. www.autocross.com/texasregion

There are a few other clubs (Porshe, BMW) that also are in the area, but I don't have addy's for them.

Not at all. Maybe just some good natured ribbing. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I've seen old and new Lightnings there. The only reason you couldn't run it, would be safety reasons, mostly rollover concerns. If it's been dropped, that shouldn't be an issue.

There is no shame in running an autocross, no matter what you drive and the "regulars" at these events already know that. I don't think I've seen anyone get "laughed at" (unless it was me getting laughed at after looping one in the middle of the course...but I was laughing louder than they were). Go have a good time.

Now....if the snow would just melt here in Ohio....
