Default autoX my WS6

I am going to mod my 2000 WS6. The car is stock right now except for a SPEC stage 3 carbon clutch, exhaust cut-out, and hood baffles removed. I plan do do a lot of drag racing this summer but also want to do some autoxing. Here my my planned mods:
LG G5X2 cam w/valvetrain
LS6 intake
ported TB
SLP 85mm MAF
SVO 30lb injectors
Texas Speed and Performace lid w/ k&n filter
Brian Green Ram Air Mod
ASP Pulley
QTP 1.75 inch headers,3 inch y-pipe with dual qtp cutouts
SLP Dual Dual exhaust with single QTP cutout
RAM 910/402 VDS clutch
Moser 12 bolt w/33 spline axles, HD Eaton posi, T/A cover Here is the question: WHAT GEARS ? We were thinking 4.30s because it would be really fun on the street and tons on FUN at the dragstrip, but a member of my car club(Scorpion Racing) says the 4.30s would be to much. He has a 96 LT4 vette with about 370RWHP and 4.10 gears. He says he wished he had 3.90 or even 3.73s because the 4.10s are to much and his 1st gear is useless while autoxing. I definetly will be using some racing tires for both drag and autox. For the dragstrip I will be using 26x11.5x16 ET streets/drags. For the autox I will use Yokohama A032R 275-40zr-17 front and 315-35zr-17 rear on HRE 545 17x9.5 front and 17x11 rear.
I was thinking this for the suspension: all LG
- 3 point bay brace
- v-brace w/ subframe connectors and dhriveshaft loop
- G2 Super Springs frt 1 1/2 drop, rear 1 5/8 drop
- Hal adjustable 12 way shocks frt and rear
- G2 Super sway bars
- Hyperflex master kit bushing set(polyurethane)
- G2 adjustable lower control arms
- G2 adjustable lower control arm brackets
- G2 torque arm

I want better stopping power so I was thinking for the brakes:
front- Willwood drilled/slotted brake kit
rear- Powerslot rear rotors and Hawk pads

I need to run stock size rear brakes because I want to run 16 inch rims w/slicks, maybe 15 inch.

The car will be tuned using LS1 Edit. I am also considering adding a TnT F1 wet nitrous kit. I would possibly run 100 shot, which using a TnT kit that would equate to 120RWHP or so. Again we drive this Ws6 everyday. We plan to drag race it every weekend and WED. night grudges, but we aren't going to race for money. We only race for fun. We also want to go AutoXing quite a bit too. PLease give me your thoughts, especially on the gears

As for the gears, 4.30s would be great! I have 4.11s and they are good but I wish I had went with more. Remember, you have a 2.66:1 first gear ratio and a 6-speed transmission, so it's hard to get too much gear.

why the hell would u be in first to autoX, the first thing I do is go to second, if you want to be shifting to third go with 4.30's, 3.42's are fine though.

AutoX, Drag, and daily driver that sounds awesome I hope you pull it off with great sucess. I have a Question about your big power adder though. Would it be a good choice to use NO2 on an autoX car? I mean its a great bang for buck adder for a daily driver/drag car, but would that be the best choice for autocross? My opinion is not always a good one but if it were me I think I would try to go all motor just do heads, cam, lifters, crank, bore, stroke, anything to get big horse all motor. Or if I had to go with a blower, turbo, supercharger just to maintain constant horsepower for that autocross running. Best of luck in whatever method you choose...

To much gear can slow you down on an Autox. You will be spinning in 1st and then shifting between 2nd and 3rd. A good road race/autox setup builds for tq and stays with more of a hwy gear. 3.73 or 4.10s would be a good compromise.

The suspension set up looks nice. Some $ could most likely be saved over LG. I really like the Global West LCAs with dela lums (sp?) Addco or BMR sway bars would work too. I would go with an adjustable panhard with with a spherical end on at least on side. The LG adjustable PHR and 4pt STB were really nice on my 94 Z28.

The nitrous I will only use for drag racing. My fiance drive the WS6 mostly and she loves drag racing but we have never AutoXed yet. We have a couple in our race club that autoX all the time and have their highspeed license. I know my fiance will love to autoX and I think I will really enjoy it too. Last spring I was sent to San Fransico for the Mini Cooper launch and I got to autoX a Mini Cooper in a huge parking lot with cones. I really liked that so I think I would like to try autoX.
