How are you going to stop the CMC car? Do they frown on Porsche brakes?

I run Wilwood 6-piston fronts, stock rears. Wilwood H pads all around. If I had unlimited funds, I'd have Stoptech's.

AP brakes are great but you need 18" wheels and about 3500 for the front only. Wilwoods are great! I am up against everything at the track and see nothing out brake me.

The Wilwoods do brake very well. I've been in a friends ZR1 with the DRM Wilwood pkg. on Road Atlanta very nice results.

How often have you had to rebuild or replace seals on the calipers?

I looked into the LG Wilwood kit as it is priced well and fits under Z06 front wheels. But I picked up a Mov'It Brembo kit used for less than LG advertises and am very happy so far. The Mov'It kit does clear 01 Z06 wheels.

Is the Movit six piston? Any links? The seals have been fine for a 2000+ track miles. Happy with the Wilwoods may do the rears also.

Good to hear on the Willwoods

Mov'It uses rotors and 4 piston Brembo Big red calipers off a 993TT using a custom bracket to hang the caliper and center hub on the 2 piece rotor. The newer kits use 996TT Brembos and slightly larger rotos.

http://www.movit.de is Movit's page they do offer 6 piston packages.

http://www.ultimategarage.com/ sells the kits new.
