drifting is the best . Iam a full blown chevy guy and have been my whole life, but i have also own 2 nissan 240sx's. It takes a lot of skill to be good but i just dont like to practice in my SS because GS-D3s aren't cheap

Yep, it's all your fault Mitch....we're coming out of the closet now!

So did you see the article about the guy that is tearing up the drifting scene with his 04 GTO? I guess the judges really like the sound of that V8.

You're fired.......

I'm thinking that was a typo....you meant "sucks", not "rocks", but it's too late to fix it now.

I see the similarity between all of the pics you posted, the bottom one is still more interesting than the first few to watch......

Oh yes; synchronized dicksucking would indeed be an anomaly in Drifting. Pictures of drifting always suck. It always looks like a car doing a burnout with the wheels cut. Watching drifting is pretty bad. Drifting around is only fun while your actually doing it. It's like golf.

Drifting... I still do not know what to think.

An over powered car spinning out while doing a turn. I have been doing that for years, just not all around a track.

Oh well... maybe I will figure it out soon.

Just a very small drift sequence of a buddy at hockenheim with an unintentional 90mph drift

I believed the car survived better then the driver. After a bit he was back out there banging away at the track

I started to ask:

"Did he and the car survive the incident with nothing more than a change of underwear?"

But, I deleted the last part before I sent it. I guess I was right in the first place.

I'll bet he was reaching for his latte coming out of that corner (leaning forward, his foot went to the floor & his hand pulled the steering wheel to one side)

Funny how the tuner geek (being polite about ) crowd likes to take American back road past times and tries to pretend they invented it on the mountains of Japan. Hell, I want to see them POWERSLIDE in the snow with a $500 winter beater Mercury Grand Marq or my latest bomb an 86 Stinkoln Town Car . And yes, the GTO has won the series and I read about a small college student team from Texas in a GMC Cab (GMC version of the El Comino) not doing so bad .
