Is this like parade laps or open track? Iam really interested and I think I can get my dad to come down in his 1965 cobra. I clicked the link but I couldnt find much more information. Maybe I was looking in the wrong spot.

Sweet sounds awsome. I want to see what my 1995 formula does. So how much iam I looking at spending for a open track event? Also when I go out on the track I need someone to be with me that is certified correct?

There is a class that is given on Friday I believe. You will then be put into a class where you are comfortable. You will not need an instructor with you in the car, just ***** out, pedal to the floor racing.
It is very organized though. Like no passing on turns, and you may only pass when the person in front of you waves you through, so you know that they see you. Usually they let you pass no problem. If you end up in the grass more than 3 times, you are done.
There have been a few wrecks, but nothing major. A vette 2 years ago was pretty badly hurt.
It is $350 for Saturday and Sunday of racing.
