Default Which springs?

Planning on upgrading my shocks sometime here soon, I'm most likely going to go with Koni SA or DA. Just wondering which springs would go best with these for AutoX and track days. The G2 Supersprings have caught my eye anyone have some usefull input on what I should do?

Generic answer you will find on this board, call Sam Strano for a good education session :-) . www.stranoparts.com

I don't know the rates of the g2 springs, but I Koni SA's are a good choice. Based on both of your mods, it looks like you would be in autox classes that allow you to use coilover/weight jackers, so that might be a good option. Most people stick with linear springs in the 450-600 lb area for autocross depending on tires and other uses. Road racers probably want to go towards the stiffer side.

I use the G2 SS and they are super stiff. I have not been to any auto x events yet. But on the street the G2 springs are awesome. If I had to do it all over again I would buy them again.

The G2 fronts are 550lb linear up front and 180-230 progressive rear. BTW, I consider these rear springs too stiff for most folks unless you race only.

I've found the best choice with the most flexibilty is the Ground Control coilovers up front and a custom modded spring in rear. If you really want to adjust it to suit your needs, then get the Koni SA all around. The DA's add bump adjustment, but most leave it full soft which is where the SA's are at. So there's rearely a need for the DA unless your super competitve on the track and want to try everything you can and have the money. Otherwise I'd just stick to the SA's.

With this combination, you can adjust your ride height as well as spring rate (although you'll have to swap springs up front at $50ea to change the front rate so make sure you get the right ones for your needs).

I can't stress enough how important it is to have the ride height adjustment. You can adjust it to suit your looks or to maximize handling. A regular spring won't give you that flexibilty.
